Overlay image and point clouds

The new version allows overlaying the panoramic image with the point cloud and taking measurements directly on the panorama.

Data visualization, management, and querying

New tools have been added for data management and exploitation (visualization, measurements, queries…):

Route Calculation

Tool for performing topographic route adjustments using least squares. The module allows solving different scenarios (closed route case, nested route case with one or two references, nested route case where the reference is one of the stations…) as well as automatic drawing of radiated points.

In MAPIA® CONNECT, this functionality is not necessary since we work with ItemTypes instead of dynamic database linkages.

If you experience issues due to this restriction, you can disable it by following these steps:

1. Open the OpenCityMaps configuration variables: Menu File > Settings > Configuration > Configuration Variables

   

   2) Create a new configuration variable:

   

   Add the variable MS_GEOXFM_DISALLOW_INFERRED_DBCONNECTION with a value of 1
   
   

   3) Accept and save the changes by clicking OK in the main dialog.

Somos expertos en desarrollos e integraciones geoespaciales basados en tecnología CAD/GIS e inteligencia geográfica. Mediante proyectos de I+D+i, desde el Área Tecnológica centramos toda nuestra actividad en maximizar el potencial de los datos espaciales y textuales de nuestros clientes, para quienes creamos modelos de datos dotados de tecnología con criterios de accesibilidad e interoperabilidad.

Actualmente, con la finalidad de disponer de nuevas funcionalidades al actual buscador de datos geoespaciales de Mapia® y que sea capaz de validar y cargar grandes volúmenes de datos geoespaciales, estamos trabajando en el proyecto Desarrollo de nuevas funcionalidades del buscador de datos geoespaciales.

Con el número de expediente 2021/C005/00148014 y en el marco de la convocatoria de ayudas C005/21-ED de Red.es, este proyecto ha sido financiado por la Unión Europea – NextGenerationEU, a través del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia del Ministerio para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública del Gobierno de España.

Cada vez más, los entes gestores de ciudades e infraestructuras requieren de mejores herramientas para optimizar los recursos que destinan a ello.  El presente proyecto de desarrollo, a caballo entre las Smart City y la Administración Electrónica, busca una nueva evolución en el uso y aprovechamiento de los datos geoespaciales, ya sean estos de carácter público estructurado o de nueva generación, lo cual nos proporcionará una potente herramienta para dar respuesta a las necesidades detectadas.

Los principales retos tecnológicos que se afrontarán a la finalización del proyecto serán:

• Disponer de una herramienta propia para terceros para validar y cargar datos geoespaciales a partir de cualquier modelo de datos teniendo en cuenta todos los controles necesarios a nivel estructural, geométrico y topológico.
• Disponer de una funcionalidad que permita descargar estructuradamente grandes volúmenes de datos independientemente del tipo de datos de origen.
